The park is FREE FROM MIDGIES with the exception of a very few evenings in the summer !.
The countryside can change dramatically during the varying seasons of the year: in the Spring the hills and gardens are bursting with colour, the Summer days and nights are long and encourage everyone to take out their cameras. Autumnal colours are simply spectacular and the winter months can be equally breathtaking with sharp, clear and crisp days - but chilly nights!

You can also bring your dog (except Rottweiler and Pit Bull breeds) as long as it is well-behaved, kept on a lead and the owner cleans up when necessary.
