The 4
star Bunchrew House
Hotel is a 17th century Scottish mansion situated 3 miles from
the city and lies in 20 acres of beautiful gardens and woodland
sitting right on the edge of the waters of the Beauly
Firth.
The Drawing Room is the heart of the House, exudes an air of easy comfort and relaxation, with dark wood-panelling and log fire-places at both ends of the room. (with central heating!) mean that when the wind is whistling outside and snow is on the ground, you can sink back in your chair and feel warm and secure.
The Drawing Room room is the oldest part of the house, with
an original wall from 1505 hidden behind the panelling. Simon the
eighth Lord Lovat and Lady Jane, a cousin of the Earl of Moray were
married here and a stone plaque, dated 1621, over a fire-place
records their marriage.
TheCocktail Bar is cosy and welcoming - just the place to relax and unwind in front of the log fire with one of our fine malt whiskies. The windows look out onto the gardens and in particular The Loving Tree.
The Mackenzie Room is used as a small dining room for up to 14guests or as a meeting room. It has a log fire and fine views over the Beauly Firth.
The luxury rooms are decorated individually and are named after local places and Scottish clans associated with the house. Each room is steeped in history and oppulence but with all modern ameineties of a luxury country house hotel.
Dining

views over the water to the Kessock Bridge and the mountains
