Cafe 1 is a popular, classical styled and informal, restaurant, it has a friendly ambience matched only by the menu which both surprises and delights guests.

The open plan kitchen turns quality Scottish produce into appealing modern dishes. It is a restaurant that moves with the times, the proprietor is very much hands on, ensuring the high standards are maintained for all its customers.

Unlike any other restaurant it even has its own Highland cattle and Hebridean Sheep on the families croft.

Cafe 1 is always looking for ways to be a step ahead of the competition and make your dining experience something unique and different. Working towards this aim, Cafe 1 now has its herd of Highland cattle and a flock of exclusive Hebridean Sheep which on occasion will appear on some of our original signature dishes.

"Holly House is the name of our family croft, where we breed our own Highland cattle, Hebridean sheep, Charollais lamb & new for 2011, pigs; September is going to be bacon month in Café 1. Something to look forward to."

Open all day, lunch from 12noon dinner from 5.30pm. Early Bird Menu, 1 Course £8 2 Courses £10. Booking is recommended, as the restaurant is very popular with locals and visitors alike.
