East of Invernes

To the east of Inverness are a number of special locations that you really MUST consider visiting when you are staying in the Inverness area. Culloden Battlefield and its really top class visitor centre tells you all about the last Jacobite battle and the start of the whole way of Highland Life. Cawdor Castle and Brodie Castle are both very special places in their own rights. Inverness airport also lies to the east of Inverness.
